The AVON FM50 and M50 use specialized self-sealing disc valves to protect the user during filter change. When one filter is removed the filter port missing a filter is sealed off by these self-sealing disc valves. It is very important to inspect these valves and make certain that they are good, over time they can and do wear out. Its always good to have extra set on hand.
